Drawing rooms have traditionally been spaces which are slightly withdrawn from the home, an area where guests enter from and in which are entertained. Not so in Sam's philosophy. She feels that drawings can also sometimes act as central features of a home and she has done countless project to prove that they can remain formal spaces and carry that warmth that can make your guests feel special while they are comfortable, right in the center of a home. SA designs educate and guide friendly use to improve people's lifestyles.
Dining
Sam Abbas' design philosophy challenges the mundane and questions the status quo. It is felt that enjoying food should not be relegated to the dining room. Be it an outdoor space or indoor, Sam knows the essential requirements of a dining space and proposes designs accordingly- design that ensures proper use of space, while respecting the sanctity of the ritual of eating.
Courtyard
Climate is a feature no one can change. However, with specific styles of building in certain orientations, and using certain materials can help subdue or enhance the feel of spaces and can easily turn any space that welcomes multiple uses. Courtyards are one such feature in homes that allow inhabitants to remain in touch with nature and help them get active during the cool season, or to stay cool in warm weather.
Living
Living spaces are essential to homes. Well-ventilates spaces, with the comfort that draws the entire family together is something that we all need in an age of constant connectivity. Sam can truly appreciate and apply all the principles that can draw the entire family together and contribute to healthy interaction between various members of a family.
Bedroom
No amount of lifestyle can make up for the comfort of that 'go to' space when one requires a good nights' rest. With our appreciation for zen like experiences- where an average person spends about a third of their lives sleeping- it is felt that no compromises can be made when it comes to the comfort of bedrooms. We therefore encourage and promote that you, our client, remain personally involved through the entire design process and we can help you conceive the style that you can be most comfortable in.
Office - Study
No house is complete without a space to relax, read, and unwind. Like the bedroom is a space reserved for sleeping, official spots in the home lead to greater productivity, within the comfort of the home. No more laptops in bed and shuffling between work and TV. A place for everything, everything in its place.
